Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a field-based Patient Access Manager to guide providers and patients through onboarding, coverage, and reimbursement across the Oncology portfolio. You will act as the primary contact for consented patients and caregivers, supporting enrollment, education, and access questions in collaboration with back-office teams.

Responsibilities include educating on coverage, coordinating with Specialty Pharmacy and REMS vendors, documenting in CRM, and ensuring HIPAA/compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or related.
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
• Valid driver's license.
• Residency near territory or within 30 miles of the border.
• Extensive oncology navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub experience.
• Advanced degree (MBA/MPH/PharmD or equivalent).
• Active RN license and BSN.
• Experience using CRM and case-management platforms, preferably Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff, providing approved information and education on oncology-specific care and benefit discussions.
• Conduct welcome calls and ongoing journey touchpoints across program specifics.
• Support patient enrolment in GSK services and guide offices through enrolment requirements.
• Provide program-specific treatment education via approved guides and PI.
• Educate patients on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options.
• Facilitate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, REMS vendors, and Benefits Specialists.
• Document interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM and maintain accurate records.
• Capture and report adverse events and comply with crisis-management procedures.
• Operate within SOPs, policies, and HIPAA/compliance guidelines.
