Job summary

Ensono is hiring an Expert Observability Engineer to drive a unified observability framework across hybrid cloud and Kubernetes environments. You will lead SRE practices, design scalable telemetry pipelines, and implement FOAK technologies to maximize service reliability.

The role emphasizes Observability-as-Code, automation, and seamless integration with ITSM and CI/CD pipelines, with a remote-friendly setup in the United States.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of total IT experience.
• 5–7 years as Lead Architect, SRE, or Principal Observability Engineer in a large enterprise.
• Proven migration from legacy monitoring to proactive observability platforms.
• Hands-on experience building scalable telemetry pipelines and time-series databases.
• Experience leading FOAK rollouts and vendor/operations transitions; strong certifications

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern a unified observability framework for metrics, logs, traces, and events.
• Lead FOAK implementations and convert new observability tech into production patterns.
• Define telemetry standards, data retention, and observability cost management.
• Define and govern SLIs/SLOs and lead major incident war rooms; perform RCAs.
• Drive Observability-as-Code and automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, GitOps.
