Job summary

Ensono is seeking an Expert Observability Engineer to lead enterprise observability, SRE practices, and FOAK technology implementations across hybrid cloud and Kubernetes environments. You will architect scalable pipelines, drive automation, and mentor global teams to improve reliability.

The role emphasizes change from reactive monitoring to proactive, automated observability with secure telemetry pipelines and ITSM integrations, remote-working flexibility, and broad certifications.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5–7 years as a Lead Architect/SRE/Observability Engineer.
• Proven track record migrating from legacy monitoring to proactive, automated observability.
• Hands-on experience building scalable telemetry pipelines and time-series data stores.
• Experience leading FOAK rollouts and vendor/operations transitions.
• Preferred certifications: Kubernetes (CKA) and cloud/observability certifications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern a unified observability framework across metrics, logs, traces, and events.
• Lead FOAK implementations and evaluate new observability technologies.
• Define telemetry standards and cost management for observability pipelines.
• Define SLIs/SLOs, manage incident war rooms, and perform RCA.
• Drive Observability-as-Code and automation with Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps.
