Job summary

Ensono is seeking an Expert Observability Engineer to lead enterprise observability strategy and architecture across hybrid cloud and Kubernetes environments. You will drive a unified, automated observability framework and champion SRE practices to improve reliability.

You will collaborate on complex telemetry pipelines, mentor teams, and guide transitions of operations and tooling while delivering secure, scalable patterns. This role supports remote work within the United States.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of total IT experience in enterprise environments.
• 5–7 years as Lead Architect, SRE, or Principal Observability Engineer in large-scale settings.
• Proven ability to migrate from legacy monitoring to automated observability platforms.
• Hands-on experience with time-series data pipelines and FOAK vendor transitions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern a unified observability framework across metrics, logs, traces, and events.
• Lead FOAK implementations and evaluate new observability tech for secure, repeatable patterns.
• Define telemetry standards, data retention, and cost management for observability.
