Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) invites a qualified OBGYN coder to contract for nationwide clients, performing accurate coding from operation reports accessed via a secure remote EMR connection.

You will return coded cases to clients with timely turnaround, supporting compliance and charge capture. The position requires at least 3 years of OBGYN coding experience and active CPC/RHIA/RHIT certification; candidates must reside in the United States and pass TCN’s coding exam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of OBGYN coding experience.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, or RHIT).
• Must reside in the United States and pass TCN's OBGYN Coding Exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform OBGYN coding for clients remotely from operation reports.
• Access reports via remote EMR connection and return coded cases.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission to clients.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an OBGYN coder to perform the OBGYN coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to a client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of OBGYN Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam
