Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking an experienced OBGYN coder to perform coding for multiple clients across the United States via remote access to EMR operation reports. The contractor will review documentation, assign CPT/ICD-10-CM codes, and return coded cases for billing.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding, hold an active CPC, RHIA or RHIT certification, reside in the USA, and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, or RHIT).
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam

Responsibilities

• Code OBGYN cases from operation reports accessed via remote EMR connection and return coded cases.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an OBGYN coder to perform the OBGYN coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to a client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of OBGYN Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam
