Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking an experienced OBGYN coder to perform reliable coding for multiple clients across the United States. The successful candidate will access patient operation reports through a secure remote EMR connection and return accurately coded cases.

This contract role offers flexible hours with an anticipated commitment of 15–40 hours per week and requires strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecologic coding, current CPC/RHIA/RHIT certification, and US residency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding experience.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA or RHIT).
• US residency (live and work in the United States).
• Willing to take and pass TCN's OBGYN Coding Exam.

Responsibilities

• Code OBGYN cases for multiple clients via remote EMR access.
• Ensure accurate, compliant coding and prompt turnaround.
• Collaborate with clients and maintain secure remote connections.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an OBGYN coder to perform the OBGYN coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to the client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of OBGYN Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam
