Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) seeks an experienced OBGYN coder to remotely code cases for clients nationwide. Expect duties to access operation reports through an EMR connection, code cases, and deliver completed work to clients. Part-time engagement ranges from 15 to 40 hours per week.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of OBGYN coding, hold CPC/RHIA/RHIT certifications, reside in the United States, and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding experience.
• Active coding certification: CPC, RHIA, or RHIT.
• Residence within the United States to work remotely.
• Must pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam.

Responsibilities

• Code OBGYN cases for multiple clients.
• Access operation reports remotely via EMR and return coded results.
• Submit completed codes to clients in a timely manner.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an OBGYN coder to perform the OBGYN coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to a client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of OBGYN Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam
