Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking a qualified OBGYN coder to perform remote coding for clients nationwide. This contract role supports a flexible 15–40 hour/week schedule and requires strong accuracy in obstetrics coding.

The coder will access operation reports through a secure EMR connection, return coded cases, and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam. US residency is required to work from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding experience.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT).
• Live and work in the United States of America.
• Pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam.

Responsibilities

• Code OBGYN cases for multiple clients remotely.
• Access operation reports via secure EMR connection and return coded cases.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an OBGYN coder to perform the OBGYN coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to a client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

• Have a minimum of 3 years of OBGYN Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam
