Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking an experienced OBGYN coder to perform coding for multiple clients nationwide. This remote contract role offers 15–40 hours per week and access to client EMRs via a secure remote connection, allowing you to work from home.

Applicants must have 3+ years of OBGYN coding experience, and hold an active CPC, RHIA, or RHIT certification. You must reside in the United States and be able to pass TCN’s coding exam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding experience.
• Active coding certification CPC/RHIA/RHIT.
• US residency required.

Responsibilities

• Code OBGYN cases for multiple clients from EMR data.
• Maintain high accuracy and timely turnaround.
• Follow client-specific coding guidelines.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with an OBGYN coder to perform the OBGYN coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to the client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of OBGYN Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam
