Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking a contracted OBGYN coder to perform coding for a number of clients nationwide. Coder will remotely access client EMRs via secure connections and return coded cases.

Hours are flexible, ranging from 15 to 40 hours per week. Candidates must have at least 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding, hold an active CPC, RHIA, or RHIT certification, reside in the United States, and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT).
• U.S. resident; able to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Code OBGYN cases for multiple clients remotely.
• Access operation reports via remote EMR connections and return coded cases.
• Meet client timelines and ensure accuracy per coding standards.

The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to a client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

• Have a minimum of 3 years of OBGYN Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam
