Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking a contract OBGYN coder to perform OBGYN coding for clients nationwide. You will access operation reports through a remote connection to the client’s EMR and return coded cases.

Hours range from 15–40 hours per week, offering a flexible schedule for qualified professionals. Applicants must have at least 3 years of OBGYN coding experience, hold CPC, RHIA, or RHIT certification, reside in the United States, and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of OBGYN-specific coding experience.
• Active coding certification CPC, RHIA or RHIT required.
• U.S. residency required to live and work in the United States.
• Must pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam.

Responsibilities

• Code OBGYN procedures from operation reports via remote EMR access and return coded cases to clients.

The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to the client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of OBGYN Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s OBGYN Coding Exam
