Job summary

Astrion is seeking an entry-level Project Administrator in Rockville, MD with remote options. You will support the Program Management Team in monitoring projects, gathering data, coordinating onboarding/offboarding, and communicating with the Customer.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving customer environment. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of related experience, are highly organized, and can learn new tools quickly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in project administration or related areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges.
• Excellent communication and meeting facilitation abilities.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMT and Customer with project monitoring, data gathering, and communications.
• Schedule meetings with Customers and internal staff, ensure all required participants are invited.
• Maintain PM calendars and align with corporate and customer meetings.
• Create detailed meeting agendas and distribute minutes and action items.
• Track FISMA and ASSR activities, monitor due dates, and notify stakeholders of expirations.
• Post documentation to SharePoint and maintain project data in MS Project and DR lists.
• Monitor schedules, input data, and report status weekly to PMT and SharePoint.
