Job summary

RCG, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a federal government customer in a fully remote environment. This role is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys maintaining secure, reliable enterprise infrastructure while collaborating with a distributed team to support mission-critical operations.

Although this position is 100% remote, occasional travel to Washington, DC may be required for meetings, planning sessions, or operational support. U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Systems Administration experience.
• Experience with Windows server environments.
• Experience with virtualization and physical infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring, patching, backups, and DR activities.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and support enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Manage virtual and physical servers, workstations, and infrastructure appliances.
• Ensure secure, reliable operation with proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Perform OS updates, patch management, backups, and DR activities.
• Develop dashboards and operational reports to monitor performance.
• Document configurations, procedures, and processes.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
