Job summary

Kiva, a global nonprofit expanding financial access, seeks a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to grow philanthropic support through mid-level and major donors. You will cultivate relationships with donors and donor-advised funds, collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Product, and Engineering, and drive engagement strategies to deepen giving.

You will work across donor communications, events, and fundraising proposals, leveraging data to optimize outreach.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising or related field.
• Experience developing donor engagement strategies and moving prospects toward giving.
• Familiarity with donor-advised funds and major gifts; experience engaging these audiences is a plus.
• Strong writing and editing skills to translate impact data into proposals and communications.
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple projects independently.
• Comfort using CRM and digital engagement data to track activity and run reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop donor engagement and solicitation plans for mid-level and major donors.
• Cultivate relationships with donor-advised funds, philanthropy advisors, and gatekeeper professionals.
• Collaborate on donor communications, website journeys, and unique donor offerings.
• Represent Kiva in donor conversations and pursue thought leadership opportunities.
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual donor events to generate qualified prospects.
• Maintain donor records and track pipelines toward fundraising goals.
• Coordinate donor messaging with Marketing and Communications teams.
