Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst for a fully remote contract position. The role supports a large enterprise IT operations team, monitoring WAN and enterprise infrastructure across locations, with on-call rotations and weekend coverage.

Responsibilities include incident management, troubleshooting Cisco/Juniper networks, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain availability and performance of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Experience with Windows operating systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve network infrastructure issues.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support a large-scale enterprise WAN environment.
• Serve as junior incident manager during outages and service disruptions.
• Troubleshoot network hardware and connectivity services.
• Support core business applications and infrastructure platforms.
• Assist with wireless networking, voice, storage, and data center technologies.
• Investigate alerts and perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate resolution with technical teams.
• Assist with upgrades, maintenance activities and deployment projects.
• Ensure system availability, performance and operational stability.
• Escalate issues and communicate with stakeholders.
