VC3, Inc. is seeking a NOC Analyst I to join our Network Operations Center. You will monitor and maintain network and system performance to ensure uptime, working evenings/overnights from a remote US-based environment.

The role offers growth within a collaborative team and requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, plus familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with network and system monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and Windows/Linux concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor network and system performance using monitoring tools and software.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues, escalating as needed.
  • Perform basic configurations and deployments for networks and systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Respond to alerts and notifications and communicate issues to stakeholders.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours incident response.
  • Ensure tickets are created and time tracked, manage workload and SLAs.
