Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Network Operations/Support professional for a hybrid role in La Jolla, CA. You will monitor enterprise network and security alerts, perform Tier 1 troubleshooting, and manage incident tickets end-to-end while coordinating communications during outages.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in NOC/SOC or IT Infrastructure, basic Layer 2/3 knowledge, and familiarity with routers, switches, VLANs, and monitoring tools. Overnight shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of NOC, SOC, Network Operations, Technical Support, or IT Infrastructure experience.
• Basic understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, VLANs, ports, and network monitoring tools.
• Experience working in a ticketing system.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on overnight shifts.
• Network+ or equivalent networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

Join our client's 24/7 Network Operations Center supporting a large enterprise environment with thousands of network devices and access points. This role is ideal for someone with NOC, SOC, or Network Support experience who enjoys troubleshooting, monitoring alerts, and coordinating incident response.
