Job summary

VC3, Inc. is seeking a part-time NOC Analyst I to join our Network Operations Center. This entry-level role focuses on monitoring and maintaining networks and systems to ensure uptime and performance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with network and system monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching.
• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux server/OS concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network and system performance with monitoring tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot network/system issues and escalate when needed.
• Perform basic system and network configurations and deployments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor and respond to alerts from monitoring tools.
• Provide timely communication to stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours incidents.
• Ensure tickets are created and time tracked.
• Manage workload and meet SLAs.
• Additional duties as required.
