Job summary

Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to drive growth in the assigned territory by engaging Healthcare Professionals with clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information.

You will develop territory plans, address objections, tailor materials, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure patient access and compliant education. Travel up to 80% is expected with vaccination requirements noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, life sciences preferred.
• 3 years of sales experience with at least 1 year in pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales; neuroscience preferred.
• Executive level requires 12 years of healthcare sales in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually with clinical, disease state and reimbursement information.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet sales objectives.
• Address customer questions and objections using advanced dialogue and selling skills.
• Tailor approved sales aids and brand resources to customer needs.
• Coordinate with managed markets, operations, sales training, and marketing to deliver solutions.
• Provide guidance on pricing, reimbursement, and distribution channels for access issues.
• Track and report sales activities and customer interactions timely.
• Participate in national, regional, and local meetings; mentor new specialists.
