Job summary

Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to drive education and sales within a dedicated territory.

You will promote products to clinicians, address payer and access questions, and work to expand patient access through solid relationships with healthcare professionals. The role requires deep neuroscience knowledge, strong local market insight, and the ability to travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience with at least 1 year in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, focusing on neuroscience preferred.
• Specialist level requires a minimum of 8 years healthcare sales with 2+ years in complex or account-based selling environments.

Responsibilities

• Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually with clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet or exceed sales objectives.
• Address customer questions, concerns, and objections using advanced dialogue and selling skills.
• Tailor approved sales aids and resources to customer needs.
• Provide guidance on product pricing, reimbursement, and distribution channels; liaise between customers and the company for access issues.
• Track and report sales activities and expenses in a timely manner.
• Travel for national, regional, and local meetings as required.
• Mentor and train new sales specialists and contribute to cross-functional projects.
