Job summary

Acadia Pharmaceuticals seeks a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to achieve territory sales goals by building strong relationships with HCPs and delivering compliant product education. You will drive patient access, tailor resources, and partner with internal teams to provide coordinated solutions.

The role requires neuroscience expertise, knowledge of payer dynamics, and travel within the assigned territory to engage customers and deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, with life sciences preferred.
• 3 years of sales experience with at least 1 year in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales; neuroscience preferred.
• 8+ years of healthcare sales for Sr. Specialist; 12+ years for Executive level.
• Demonstrated advanced selling skills, leadership abilities and business acumen.
• Must reside within the territory (or within 30 miles of its border) with a valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually with clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet sales objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with HCPs, KOLs, and advocacy organizations.
• Address questions and objections using advanced dialogue and selling skills.
• Tailor sales aids and resources to customer needs.
