Job summary

Palo Alto Networks in the United States is seeking a Domain Consultant for network security transformation. You will provide technical expertise in customers' security journeys, define technical solutions, and evangelize our leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security services.

This is a remote role with field travel to support in-person meetings. You will collaborate with sales to win opportunities, lead demonstrations, and architect solutions that strengthen customers' security posture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years pre-sales/sales engineering in Zero Trust, Networking, or SSE/SASE.
• Strong English communication with customers.
• Experience with NGFW, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, and related security tech.
• Willingness to travel for in-person customer meetings.
• Ability to architect network security solutions for customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your assigned specialization.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from practitioner to senior leadership.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations that showcase our unique value proposition.
• Responsible for prospective customers and partners' Technical Validation projects to ensure technical win.
• Architect solutions that strengthen customers' security posture.
• Document high-level design and key use cases to ensure proper implementation and value realization.
• Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape.
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
• Be the main technical contact for Network Security and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Position Palo Alto Networks or Partner delivered services to ensure value realization.
• Discuss competitive offers and position ours as the best alternative.
