Job summary

Wabtec seeks a Technical Sales Representative I to drive sales of NDT products in PA and NJ. This remote role requires travel about 60% of the time to demonstrate products and secure opportunities within the territory.

You will manage the full selling cycle, build quotations with engineering and support staff, and coordinate with key accounts while leveraging the Miller Heiman approach to sales planning.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in NDT or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1+ year in high-end capital equipment sales or similar selling skills.
• Strong computer skills and effective communication are required.
• Ability to learn and explain technical product details in a selling cycle.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers to demonstrate products and discuss sales opportunities in the territory.
• Follow up on leads and prospect to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare timely quotations with sales engineers and support staff.
• Coordinate sales efforts with account managers and colleagues.
• Maintain a Sales Plan to increase coverage and improve product presentations.
