Job summary

Wabtec Corporation's Evident Inspection Technologies division is seeking a Technical Sales Representative I to develop and execute a sales strategy for NDT products in PA and NJ. This remote role covers a territory with extensive travel and requires demonstrating products to customers and managing the selling process.

You will meet sales targets, travel about 60% for product demonstrations, prepare quotations with support, and collaborate with sales engineers and account managers.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in NDT or related technical field, business discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1+ year experience in high-end capital equipment sales or similar selling skills.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers to demonstrate products and discuss opportunities in the territory.
• Follow up on leads and qualify opportunities.
• Prepare timely quotations with sales engineers and support staff.
• Coordinate with others at the company to plan territory coverage and product presentations.
• Maintain CRM records and management reporting.
• Travel approximately 60% to meet customers and perform demonstrations.
• Adhere to the company's ethics policy and learn Miller Heiman selling methodology.
