Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for NDT products to develop and execute a sales strategy within a defined territory. You will demonstrate products, manage the selling process, and travel about 60% to meet customers for demonstrations and sales opportunities.

The role requires knowledge of technical product features, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with sales engineers and support staff. Compensation includes base salary and uncapped commission incentives.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in NDT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1+ year in high end capital equipment sales or similar selling skills.
• Must learn the scientific principles and technology of the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers to demonstrate products and discuss opportunities in the territory.
• Follow up on leads and complete timely quotations with sales engineers.
• Prospect and cold call to identify new business opportunities in territory.
• Coordinate selling efforts with internal teams and key accounts.
• Maintain a comprehensive Sales Plan and improve product presentation skills.
