Job summary

Wabtec Corporation’s Evident Inspection Technologies division is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for NDT products. This remote role supports PA or NJ and requires roughly 60% travel to meet customers and demonstrate products.

The incumbent will develop a territory sales strategy, quote solutions, and work with sales engineers to close deals. Candidates should have an Associates degree in NDT or related field and at least 1 year in high-end capital equipment sales.

Qualifications

Associates degree in NDT or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1+ year in high-end capital equipment sales or similar.
Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to learn technical concepts.

Responsibilities

Visit customers to demonstrate products and discuss sales opportunities in the territory.
Follow up on leads provided by EVIDENT.
Prospecting and cold calling to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare timely quotations with sales engineers and support staff.
Coordinate selling efforts with internal teams and key accounts.
Complete and improve the Sales Plan to increase coverage and in-field time.
Respond to customer inquiries promptly via phone and email.
Maintain CRM records and generate management reports.
Attend sales meetings and participate in local professional organizations.
