Job summary

Evident Inspection Technologies (a division of Wabtec) is seeking a Technical Sales Representative I to develop and execute a sales strategy for the MD/VA/DE territory, promoting NDT products and services. You will travel about 60% to demonstrate products, build relationships, and close opportunities.

Requirements include an associates degree in a technical or business field and 1+ year in high-end capital equipment sales, plus strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in NDT or related technical degree or business discipline or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum 1+ year experience in high end capital equipment sales or similar selling skills and training desired.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales targets for the territory on all products.
• Visit customers to demonstrate products and discuss sales opportunities daily in the assigned territory.
• Follow up on all leads provided by EVIDENT.
• Prospecting and cold calling to identify new business opportunities.
• Complete timely quotations to customers with support from sales engineers.
