Job summary

Sharecare is seeking a Certified Health Coach to join its remote, full-time team. The role involves coaching members by phone, engaging them to adopt healthier behaviors, and coordinating with nurses and vendors.

Training is six weeks with evening hours and rotating Saturdays. Compensation starts at $21.50–$25 per hour, depending on certification. A NBHWC-certified training background and a bachelor's in a health field are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed NBHWC certified training program.
• Active NBHWC board certification is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in health-related field.
• Experience with using chat to deliver coaching sessions.
• Experience with benchmarks and contact center metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Coordinate telephonic communication while navigating software.
• Knowledge of lifestyle topics (smoking cessation, nutrition, exercise, sleep).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adaptable to schedule changes on an as-need basis.
• Multitask with members and staff.
• Hard-wired internet connection required.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound coaching calls.
• Enroll eligible participants and inform them of the program.
• Provide behavior-change coaching via motivational interviewing.
• Coordinate care delivery with nurses and vendors.
• Support operations and meet customer requirements.
• Maintain schedule and caseload for member interactions.
• Attend daily and monthly meetings to share findings.
• Track member progress and program efficacy.
