Job summary

Sharecare is seeking a Health Coach to engage program participants through structured telephonic coaching, delivering education, support, and motivation to help members adopt healthier lifestyles.

The role operates remotely with a 6-week training period (8:00 am–4:30 pm CST) and a Monday–Friday schedule, plus every fourth Saturday. Compensation starts at $21.50 per hour or $25 with NBC‑HWC/CHES certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health-related field required; NBHWC certification may substitute for the degree
• 1-2 years of related experience; customer service exposure preferred
• Experience with benchmarks and contact center metrics is a plus
• Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office
• Ability to coordinate telephonic communication while navigating software systems
• Knowledge of lifestyle topics such as smoking cessation, nutrition, and exercise is desirable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must adapt to schedule changes and rotate Saturdays
• Reliable high-speed internet connection is required

Responsibilities

• Conduct inbound/outbound coaching calls and enroll participants
• Provide education and motivation to support behavior change
• Coordinate with care team members (nurses, pharmacists, vendors)
• Document interactions and track progress and outcomes
• Attend daily and monthly team meetings to share insights
• Manage caseloads and maintain adherence to schedules
