Job summary

Sharecare is seeking a Health Coach to conduct structured telephonic coaching, educate, support, and motivate participants to reach health goals using established workflows. The role works remotely in a multi-disciplinary team, with six weeks of training, Monday–Friday 10:30am–9:00pm CST, occasional Saturdays.

Compensation is $21.50/hour, or $25/hour with NBC-HWC or CHES certification. Bachelor's degree in health-related field is required; NBHWC certification may substitute; strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health-related field required; NBHWC substitute allowed.
• 1-2 years of related experience; customer service preferred.
• Experience with benchmarks and contact center metrics; schedule adherence.
• Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to coordinate telephonic communication while using software.
• Knowledge of lifestyle topics (smoking cessation, nutrition, exercise, sleep).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adaptability to schedule changes; rotating Saturdays.
• Ability to multitask with members and staff.
• Hard-wired internet connection required; WIFI not allowed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inbound and outbound coaching calls with program participants.
• Educate and motivate participants to adopt healthier behaviors.
• Coordinate care with nurses, pharmacists, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate notes and track participant progress.
• Participate in daily and monthly team meetings.
