Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to retain and grow national rental accounts across the West and Central regions. This 100% sales role emphasizes profitability, wallet share growth, and strategic account development.

The NRCDM will manage about 100 national accounts, drive revenue growth, and mentor Rental Account Managers while traveling extensively. Remote work is supported for qualified candidates in the West/Central regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years or more of sales experience.
• Prior experience as Rental Manager, RAM or BDM on lease side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approx. 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned national rental accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows for applicable industries.
• Completes annual business reviews with assigned customers.
• Analyzes profitability and understands competitive influences and risks.
• Partners with RAMs to develop their skills and growth.
