Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to sustain and grow a portfolio of major national rental accounts. The role is 100% sales, with travel across the West and Central regions; work is remote with preference for candidates in those regions.

You will develop sales plans, lead customer meetings, and build relationships at all levels to improve profitability and hit revenue targets. Comprehensive benefits and 401(k) are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of experience with quota achievement in sales roles.
• Prior experience as Rental Manager, RAM or BDM on the lease side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of ~100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each account.
• Leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows within the territory.
