Job summary

Kemp er National Accounts team seeks a seasoned Sales Executive to drive growth with national agencies, brokers, carriers, and partners. You will lead strategic account plans, negotiate key contracts, and expand Kemper Auto's distribution across large, complex accounts nationwide.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in B2B sales within P&C, strong executive communication, and a track record of profitable growth. Travel up to 50% for meetings and events is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
• 7+ years in B2B sales, business development, agency management, or strategic account management, preferably in P&C insurance.
• Experience managing national or enterprise-level accounts with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven revenue/premium growth and sales objective achievement.
• Experience developing strategic account plans, negotiating contracts, and managing complex opportunities.
• Established relationships with national agencies, brokers, carriers, or other insurance partners preferred.
• Spanish bilingual appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for national accounts and distribution partners.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers across national agencies, brokers, carriers, and partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand existing relationships.
• Lead complex business development initiatives, including negotiations and implementation.
• Set growth objectives, forecasts, and account strategies; monitor profitability and retention.
• Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Finance, Operations, Marketing and other teams to meet partner needs.
• Represent Kemper at industry events and strategic forums to expand market presence.
