Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas seeks a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical, setting strategy, guiding a national team, and driving profitable growth. This remote role requires 50% travel and interaction with executive leadership across the organization.

You will develop long-range plans, manage high-value accounts, and build executive relationships with data center operators and hyperscalers, delivering scalable, transparent results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers

Responsibilities

• Market analysis to assess market characteristics, trends, growth potential, and competitive positioning.
• Strategic planning to drive Data Center vertical market strategy and long-term business plans.
• Key customer planning and execution to improve the customer experience and scale complex solutions.
• Stakeholder coordination with supply chain, manufacturing, service operations, and product development.
• Marketing collaboration on materials, trade shows, and visibility; identify speaker events.
• Team management to grow pipeline, hire and coach headcount, and develop talent.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience
