Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. This role sets strategy, drives growth, and guides the team toward profitable results.

You will manage a remote team with up to 50% travel, cultivate executive relationships with data center operators and hyperscalers, and coordinate across supply chain, manufacturing, and marketing to execute plans and capture opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess market intelligence and growth potential for the Data Centers vertical.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy and plans for the Data Center market.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate Data Center team's professionalism and scale complex solutions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead strategy implementation with internal customers across functions.
• Marketing: collaborate to determine materials, events, and visibility opportunities.
• Team Management: lead and hire, coach, and develop the Data Center team.
