Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas, a leader in HVAC solutions, seeks a National Accounts Director to drive the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts Team. This role is remote with travel up to 50%, responsible for strategy, growth, and leadership across key accounts.

You will build executive relationships with data center operators and hyperscalers, align cross-functional teams, and mentor the national accounts group to deliver profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess and communicate market intelligence, including segmentation, trends, and growth potential.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy for Data Center vertical market.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate professionalism of Data Center team and scale complex solutions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead implementation of vertical market strategy with internal customers; monitor activity and adapt plans.
• Marketing: collaborate with marketing on materials, trade shows, and visibility opportunities.
• Team Management: lead a team; drive pipeline growth, hire and train new headcount, and manage performance.
