Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. The role sets strategy and business plans to deliver growth and profitable results, and provides leadership across the organization.

Remote with 50% travel; the position requires building executive relationships, managing a team of Data Center experts, and coordinating with supply chain, manufacturing, and product development to drive a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership.
• Proven history of leading high-performing sales teams in the data center sector.
• Ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders in data centers and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Centers vertical market and national accounts strategy.
• Develop and drive business plans to deliver growth and profitability.
• Manage Data Center team and coaching across the organization.
• Coordinate with VP and leadership; provide market updates and drive planning.
• Collaborate with marketing on materials, events and visibility.
• Drive pipeline growth and identify opportunities within national accounts.
