Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical as part of the National Accounts team. The role requires steering strategy, driving growth, and delivering profitable results through strong leadership and cross-functional coordination.

Remote with 50% travel, you will oversee a Data Center expert team, develop executive-level relationships, and partner with marketing and operations to optimize the customer experience across national accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 10+ years in sales or business development with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
• 6+ years of people leadership experience.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Market analysis and market intelligence for the Data Center vertical.
• Develop and drive business strategy for the Data Center market with periodic updates to leadership.
• Lead customer planning and execution to scale complex solutions across teams.
• Coordinate with internal functions (supply chain, manufacturing, service operations, product development) to implement strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing for materials, events, and visibility.
• Manage and coach Data Center experts to grow the pipeline and headcount as needed.
