Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical as part of the National Accounts team. The role focuses on strategy, growth, and profitable results across the data center market, with remote work and 50% travel as needed.

You will build executive relationships, lead a high-performing team, and coordinate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions for key accounts while partnering with marketing and operations to drive market

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sales or business development
• 6+ years people leadership experience
• History of leading high-performing sales teams in the data center sector
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators and hyperscalers

Responsibilities

• Lead the National Accounts Data Centers vertical market and drive strategy and business plans for growth.
• Set and communicate market strategy to executive leadership and field teams.
• Elevate customer experience and scale complex solutions with cross-functional teams (field, manufacturing, reps).
• Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, service operations and product development to implement vertical market strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing on materials, events and visibility to support the vertical.
• Hire, train and manage headcount; coach for performance and career development.
