Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. You will set the strategy, drive growth, and provide leadership to deliver profitable results across the business.

This remote role requires strategic planning, senior stakeholder management with C-suite contacts, and the ability to scale complex solutions across field, manufacturing, and partners. Travel up to 50% will be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical/scientific/engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10+ years in sales or business development.
• At least 6+ years in people leadership.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams in data center sector.
• 5+ years of related HVAC sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Centers vertical market strategy and plans for National Accounts.
• Develop and update business plans to deliver growth and profitability.
• Elevate Data Center team Professionalism and customer experience across locations.
• Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, service operations and product development.
• Collaborate with marketing on materials, trade shows and visibility opportunities.
• Hire, train and coach headcount; drive pipeline growth and career development.

Education
