Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical market as part of the National Accounts team. You will set the vertical strategy and business plans to drive incremental growth and lead a team to deliver profitable results.

Location: Remote with travel 50% as needed. You will collaborate with VP, executive leadership, and regional teams to drive market insights, plan initiatives, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across national accounts.

Qualifications

10+ years in sales or business development.
6+ years of people leadership experience.
History of leading high-performing sales teams through rapid growth in the data center sector.
Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators and hyperscalers.
5+ Years of related experience in HVAC sales.

Responsibilities

Market Analysis: assess market intelligence, segmentation, trends, growth potential, and Daikin's position.
Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy for Data Center vertical market with updates to leadership.
Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate professionalism, scale complex solutions with field, manufacturing, and Rep leadership.
Stakeholder Coordination: lead implementation with supply chain, manufacturing, service ops, and product development.
Marketing: collaborate to determine materials, trade shows, and visibility; identify speaker events.
Team Management: lead Data Center experts, drive pipeline growth, hire/train, coach for development.
