Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. The role focuses on setting strategy, driving growth, and delivering profitable results while managing a team of Data Center experts.

Remote position with 50% travel. Requires 10+ years in sales (6+ in leadership) and a history of executive relationships with C-suite leaders in the data center space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess market intelligence, growth potential, and competitive position.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy for the Data Center vertical market.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate team professionalism and scale complex solutions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead strategy with internal functions and monitor competitors.
• Marketing: collaborate on materials, trade show participation, and visibility opportunities.
• Team Management: lead Data Center experts, plan hires, coach, and develop career paths.
