Job summary

Eastman is seeking a North America Business Development Manager focusing on the US to drive market activation and deepen customer relationships across the territory. This remote role requires 75%+ travel and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.

The role emphasizes developing opportunities from awareness to commercialization and building a strong funnel with Salesforce and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• Several years in business development or similar external customer-facing roles in a multinational company.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM and Opportunity Management tools.
• Willingness to travel ~75%+.

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify targets aligned with the territory and Segment strategy to deliver future growth.
• Drive market activation and build deep, multi-contact customer relationships across US and LATAM opportunities.
• Engage potential customers to understand unmet needs and their buying process; challenge customers to consider new ways of winning.
• Build market knowledge to expand sales opportunities and develop customer segment offers and solutions.
• Plan, coordinate, and host industry and customer events to systematically build relationships and drive project acquisition.
