Job summary

Eastman is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its presence in strategic markets and improve early access to projects. You will strengthen relationships across the value chain and convert insights into sustainable growth for Heat Transfer Fluids in downstream applications.

This remote role requires ~50% travel and collaboration with EPCs, process licensors, and OEMs to influence specifications, while translating market signals into strategic plans that drive commercial outcomes for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related engineering field.
• MBA preferred.
• 5–10+ years of advanced Sales/Business development in specialty chemicals or EPCs.
• Strong process engineering background with EPC exposure preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Process Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge, market and customer strategy and planning experience.
• Experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred) and opportunity management.
• Ability to connect long-term market opportunities with practical actions.

Responsibilities

• Expand Eastman’s presence in key markets and improve project win rates.
• Strengthen relationships across the value chain and with EPCs, licensors, and OEMs.
• Translate market insights into actionable business recommendations and market-entry plans.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management and technical teams.
• Track progress using CRM, Power BI, and investment-outlook resources.
