Job summary

Eastman is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its Heat Transfer Fluids business in downstream markets, partnering with EPCs, licensors and OEMs. The role emphasizes strategy, market intelligence and cross-functional execution, with significant travel expectations.

The candidate will lead initiative across North America and engage with regional teams to grow specifications and win rates, leveraging Eastman’s innovation platforms and customer insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a related engineering field is required; MBA preferred.
• 5–10+ years of advanced sales/business development in specialty chemicals, EPCs, or with process licensors.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering and market strategy.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and opportunity management.

Responsibilities

• Expand Eastman’s presence in strategic markets and improve the opportunity pipeline.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new specifications for Heat Transfer Fluids.
• Collaborate with EPCs, licensors, engineering firms, and partners to influence product specifications.
• Translate market and customer insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Utilize Salesforce, Power BI and other tools to guide resource allocation.
