Qualifications

• Education: a degree or diploma in information technology or related field.
• Experience: prior MSP or IT support experience servicing SMB clients.
• Technical skills: proficiency in Windows and macOS, networks, and common business apps (Microsoft 365, G Suite).
• Certifications: relevant like CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP are advantageous.
• Problem-solving: strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
• Communication: excellent verbal and written skills to explain technical concepts.
• Customer service: customer-focused mindset with quality service.
• Teamwork: able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support: remote and on-site support for SMB clients.
• System Maintenance: updates, backups, and monitoring for optimal performance and security.
• Incident Management: log, track, and resolve incidents per SLAs.
• Client Communication: provide regular updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Documentation: document configurations and procedures in ticketing systems.
• Security Management: implement antivirus, firewalls, and security audits.
• Hardware/Software Installation: assist with installations and configurations.
• Continuous Improvement: identify process improvements and share best practices.
