Job summary

TeamLogic IT is seeking a diligent MSP Level 1 Technician to deliver reliable IT support to SMB clients. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, perform maintenance, and manage incidents with a customer-focused approach. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

The position emphasizes remote support with occasional on-site visits, offering opportunities to advance within a collaborative North American network.

Qualifications

• Education: A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior MSP or IT support experience, preferably servicing SMB clients.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS, network configurations, and Microsoft 365 / G Suite.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support to SMB clients; troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Perform routine maintenance: updates, backups, monitoring for performance and security.
• Act as first point of contact for incidents; log, track, and resolve per SLAs.
• Maintain clear client communications; provide status updates and ensure satisfaction.
• Document client systems, configurations, and procedures; log issues and resolutions.
• Implement and monitor security measures: antivirus, firewall configurations, audits.
• Assist with hardware/software installation and configuration for new/existing clients.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and share best practices.
