Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks an Area Sales Manager in Dallas, TX operating in a virtual capacity. You will oversee a team of Mortgage Loan Officers, drive production, and partner with Fulfillment to close loans while ensuring regulatory compliance and superior customer experience.

The role emphasizes leadership,_strategy, and cross-functional collaboration across Financial Center teams to expand referrals and revenue in a risk-aware environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2–4 years residential mortgage sales experience ideal.
• Knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio mortgage guidelines.
• Experience with mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster referral source relationships (realtors, builders, professionals).
• Build a sales culture and drive volume growth within the team.
• Collaborate with Financial Center personnel to grow business and referrals.
• Ensure MLOs comply with state and federal lending regulations and bank policies.
• Recruit, hire, and train new loan officers and manage performance.
