Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Austin, Texas is seeking an Area Sales Manager 1 to lead residential mortgage loan origination efforts from application to closing. You will drive volume, oversee the team, and partner with Fulfillment Operations to improve throughput.

You will develop referral networks, build a sales culture, coach a team of MLOs, and ensure adherence to policies and regulations while delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years residential mortgage sales experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio guidelines.
• Must have management experience.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment via NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster referral source relationships.
• Lead a team of at least 5 MLOs.
• Manage personal and team production via local and Bancorp reporting and KPIs.
• Ensure high level of customer service and compliance.
